I installed this myself, and had trouble only with the last sheet, and only because it took a minute to realize I couldn’t match the pattern because the sheet was upside down. As a result, the top part did not stick well and I had to improvise. My wall has strange strips of wood I assume installed to cover gaps in a poorly constructed semi-permanent room divider. I decided to cut the strips to fit inside so the bumps wouldn’t ruin the illusion. I had no problem matching the pattern each time there was a break. Everyone who comes into my room for the first time reaches out to touch the wall (east coasters living in LA can’t help themselves), and are shocked to find it isn’t actually brick. My only complaint really is that I had to buy two rolls to cover a rather small area. I didnt use much of the second roll, so it’s just been gathering dust for a few years now. Also, I made the mistake of using a ruler to flatten out a few bumps and it let show the bumpy wall. Stick with smoothing by hand after that. I am renting, and bought this hoping the removal process would be just as painless (ok, it wasn’t exactly fun to put up, but still doable by one person) as the install. Now that I am getting ready to move, though, I think I’d rather leave it to the security deposit than even try!
