I found this to be a surprisingly, exciting book that kept me up late at night trying to finish since I was not expecting Shaughnessy to display such an accurate grasp on modern day human interaction and thought mixed in with a page turning scandal. Within the first couple of pages I was hooked. Shaughnessy does an excellent job of developing a plot of seemingly, insurmountable odds for the characters to defeat. The book raised a lot of thoughtful, moral questions and left me cheering vigorously for my favorite characters while heartily booing for others. I wish the ending gave me more closure for the characters’ lives but it was an overall excellent read that I highly recommend to anyone.
