I got this Sling pack earlier this year. I have been using it daily ever since. This is a good size bag for daily use. It is well made. I have many bags in my collection - backpacks and messenger style bags. I was looking for a bag that I can use when I am biking, walking, out and about, that would hold (comfortable) gear that I need. What I like the most about the bag is that the front bottom pouch holds my Vanquest EDCM-HUSKY Maximizer (Every-Day-Carry Maximizer) - which has items that I carry every day - like first aid kit and emergency supplies - Which btw has really come in handy. The smaller section above it allows me to carry emergency battery charger for my phone and other small items. The larger section can be used for a change of clothing, extra water, and other needs. I really love the fact that it has a water bottle holder - I was looking at Maxpedition Noatak Gearslinger -- but could not justify the cost at a 56 dollar difference. The sling fits comfortable on my neck and across the body in the right places. Even with packing it to its max compacity it feels light on the back and the shoulders, where backpacks dig in, this doesn't and shifts the weight across the body rather than just on the shoulders. The zippers flow well and allows you to put items in at the top or on the sides. Even with packing it for a day trip with my nieces and nephew who always want their snacks and water bottles, it wasn't a hassle to take things in and out. without taking it off. It easily slides to the front for easy access.Update 7/7/15I wanted to attach morale patches to the bag so I purchased a 2-inch wide roll of industrial velcro and attached it to the top pouch. So far so good. The bag goes with me everywhere and I have been modifying this bag to meet my days needs. It has come in handy several times. This is not a survival set but rather a daily need bag.
