It’s very hard material about 1/4 inch of thickness. It is not bendable so do not try to bend it. I do recommend listening to the instructions about using a hair dryer before wearing it. The only reason I gave it a 4/5 and not a 5/5 is because the rubber piece that adjusts the sizing around the head is very difficult to adjust. It wouldn’t loosen with my nails or using a pen. I had to use a needle to loosen it and that still took some time. Overall, it looks really good with my costume. I wish it was a little more burgundy, it seems to have a tint more of brown in it. I have a more rounded face and was worried it wouldn’t fit but it fits perfectly around my face.Excellent！I love this headpieceThis mask looks incredible from a distance or in photos. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with it when looking up close either, but it is definitely made of a bendable kind of plastic and doesn’t claim to be anything else– in my opinion, looking at it up close makes you realize the cheapness of it. I’m only using this for special occasions and don’t wear it often so it doesn’t have a lot of wear and tear, but my friend and I have the same one and she uses it for cosplay combat scenes and hers has a few visible scuffs on it. The malleable plastic allows for some bend and overall comfortability which you wouldn’t get with a hard plastic mask. It doesn’t shape your face exactly, but this mask fits me (6ft male) and my friend (5’2 female) just the same. It is quite flattering on the face as well as it covers just above the brow and leaves enough of your face available to be recognized and for you to have breathing room and not have that claustrophobic mask feel.It also provides a lot of visibility as the spaces around the eyes sit far enough away from the face to not hit your eyelashes. The color of this mask is certainly unique and your likeness will depend on the rest of the outfit you are fitting it with–though it is advertised as a red mask, it errs on the brown side. For me, this lends itself to the organic look, but if you are wanting more of a superhero red, look elsewhere.Overall, this mask is fantastic for photoshoots and everyday wear, as long as you are not scuffing it up in a battle scene or by placing it on rough surfaces. It has a lovely and original color that will make you stand out from the rest. I highly recommend it!Update 8/01/22—-The headband broke when it fell on the floor. Although it is tough it can break apart if dropped onto a hard surface. The seller sent me a replacement and did mention you may heat it up to reshape it if you need to tweak the fitment.———This is like the one Scarlett Witch from Marvel wears. It is well made and hard which means it will not lose its shape. It has an adjustable strap in the back which you hide under your hair. The color is a brownish red color leaning more to the brown tones instead of to the reds which is more correct to the movie.
