Poor quality: I bought these as a gift in December 2021 and by April 2022, the laces had to frayed very badly to the point now where I can’t comfortably wear them (see pic). I would expect the boots to last longer than 4 months.Bad customer service: after contacting the sellers to ask about repair options, their only recourse was to request I buy some new ones and they could offer me 10% off. I asked about warranty information and no information was provided.I would stay away. There are many boot outlets online and they would probably be of better quality and durability.I changed for a larger size with immediate redelivery. Pictures taken following heavy use in Spain. I have owned the boots for about 3 months and worn everyday in a variety of urban and rugged rural locations in both Andalucia and South Wales. These are an excellent lightweight day to day boot. Good value, comfortable and capable of trekking as opposed to hiking or serious hill walking. The leather has improved with regular wax polishing. The sole is rigid enough but light too. Stitching is strong. I am really pleased, they have exceeded my expectation.I've had a pair of these for at least 2 years, and they are my favourite, comfy, stylish shoes. Fit is spot on, I'm a UK12. They're warm enough in the colder weather , but not hot and sweaty in the warmer weather, despite being a boot. I'm really hard on my shoes, normally a pair only lasts around 6 months but these are still going strong and still look very respectable. It helps that they are properly stitched - not a moulding hiding adhesive and pretending to be stitching. The soles have very little wear, and this is normally the first thing I would wear out. Even the laces seem to be more durable than most. I went looking for another pair as these have been that good - thinking I'd never find some, but Amazon turned up trumps! Superb value for the quality - rare that I give a rave review like this, but so happy to have been able to find a backup pair - even though it looks like another 2 years before I will need to use them!I'm fussy about shoes, generally, and ordered these ankle boots with some scepticism...bearing in mind the price. Actually, I'm delighted with them. They are well-made,with real leather uppers, stylish and very well-finished, with what looks to be a stitched and durable sole. I walked in them and found them to be comfortable after about 5 minutes. I'm considering buying a second pair.l have waited several days to post this review...as having read some other peoples concerns regarding the stitching...l so thought l'd give the boots a good work out, and l can truly say, they have been perfect in both fit, comfort, and not least...price, l'm also more than happy about the way they've been made.I'm so pleased with these Red Tape boots infact, that l'm thinking of buying another pair in a different style.Bought a size 12 eventually, though was considering a size 11 as i sometimes take either size. Glad i went for the 12 though. Its a perfect fit. I have wide feet and was initially concerned the boot was narrow. Needn't have worried, it feels very comfortable already and will no doubt improve even more. The boot feels like real quality for the price. Though as others have said, not sure how long the sole will last before it wears down. Seems a bit rubbery. Overall, very pleased i chose this boot, especially since size 12 was cheaper than 11 (Why though??)
