This yarn isn't REALLY as jumbo as they make it sound but it is good yarn. I'd say it is similar to the Bernat mega yarn. The red heart Irresistable yarn is REALLY jumbo (with a price tag that matches)....I bought 15 skeins of this and to hand crochet a chunky throw blanket I used 3 strands at once. It's very soft and the colors are gorgeous. You will see I posted a pic of the blanket crocheted with this yarn (the blue, pink, and light green) and a second picture of a blanket crocheted in the same way with ONE strand of the Irresistable yarn (the gray black and white one)Let me add that at this price using three strands of this yarn at once still comes out cheaper than the one strand of the larger yarn. Plus the Irresistable yarn sheds and this Boulevard yard does not!
