I have been Gluten free for a few years now and I’m always looking for quality GF products. One of my favorite treats as a child was the super rope candy. This licorice treat is almost identical. It’s so dangerously delicious that I almost ate half the bag in one sitting. This is a great treat for anyone who likes licorice even if you are not GF.On another note. I saw that seller of this item was a shop not too far from my house called Nuts’n More. I ventured there and found that the owner is a lovely man who encourages you to sample the many delicious chocolates, gummies and other items he has in his shop. Everything I sampled was amazing and I walked out with a couple of gifts and a bunch of free samples. I definitely encourage anyone nearby to go for a visit.Dog shaped and tastes just like Red Vines! No joke. Maybe even a hair better. Chewy texture. Friggin score. Super excited about finding this. If you have had licorice before but can’t anymore because… celiac, holy crap! It tastes JUST like the real thing! The texture is a bit different but will fill that void if you’re jonesing for some GF licorice! Also, this is my honest opinion, I wasn’t asked or paid for this review ?I need gluten-free products, and most other licorice has wheat in it!! It is hard to find gluten-free licorice!!So my favorite candy growing up was twizzlers. I could eat those 24/7 but when I found out I had celiac I had to give them up and since then I have been looking for a gf licorice. Thise little doggies are so cute and the texture is great but, they mind of taste like bubble gum.The taste & texture was definitely different than regular licorice. My husband ended up eating them although he bought for me since I’m gluten free.I honestly love these. I wouldn’t say they’re a perfect dupe to the Original Red Redvines but they are quite close & very delicious. Definitely satisfied the craving for licorice I’ve had for years. (& I hate twizzlers)This was very good in the beginning. It tasted like I remember red vines or licorice being but it’s very pricey and a few pieces were good but others had a bad after taste
