Description
Product Description Red Wire's music is written and performed by Jamie Kowalski, along with a few random guests who happen into his studio. Kowalski is a long-time veteran of the music scene, having played keyboards in bands as disparate as the DC's late-70s new wave band White Boy, and more recently the cool groove of Ted Hovis Band (Hovis makes a guest appearance on track six). Kowalski's influences are wide and varied, leading to a style all his own. From the orchestral layering of 'The Mystery We Bear' to the unexpectedly wondrous woven textures of electric razors, cell phones, and alarm clocks in 'Elaine Incident,' this CD is one delightful surprise after another, while somehow comprising a single cohesive vision. '... perfectly brilliant!!! Incredibly bright, powerful!' - Serge Tikhanoff, Radio Penguin, Siberia.
