I use this collar with my dog’s training device. She cleverly chewed through the original collar thinking that would be the end of that, especially since the unit’s attachment point is an odd size. Fortunately, I am more clever than a Labrador Retriever and I used my opposable thumbs to quickly order this replacement.The bright color helps me to remember that my dog is still wearing it so I can remove it when it is not needed. The plethora of holes ensures that I can easily find the perfect fit without having to make adjustments.It is worth noting that this collar is as “basic” as the title. It is a sturdy collar that can be used to hold a tracking or training device, but there is no D-ring for attaching tags or a leash.So, if you are looking for a traditional collar, this is not it. If you are looking for a wider (1”), collar for a functional purpose, this is it. I have already purchased extras in anticipation of my other dogs damaging the plastic buckles on their collars.
