Large Red Bark Towel Chammyz fabric is green made from a special combination of the bark stems twigs and roots harvested from the Northern Canada lumber farms. This waste would normally have been burned or hauled away and buried. The way the fabric works is that you would wipe or dry off an animal person car etc. The fabric will absorb 9 12 times more water moisture than cotton. Once the watermoisture is removed the Chammyz start an immediate evaporation process so in essence the Chammyz remain mostly dry. Only if actually dunked in water do they become wet and heavy. If or when this happens then all you have to do is wring them out. Cotton will remain wet and heavy where as the Chammyz will be almost 100 dry and will be back to a light weight material.The material is government tested and is 100 UVAUVB rated an SPF of 50 and hypoallergenic. As far as being green we have been awarded several stamps of approval. This is machine washable and dryable in hot, warm or cold or can be hung to dry.
