This is the first harness that I've had in which the dog doesn't step into the harness but the harness attaches around the body. It takes some getting used to but if your dog is patient like mine is it isn't a big deal. The trick is getting the buckle through the loop on the underside of your pooch which does require some practice and takes a little more time than the step in type but I bought this type of harness mainly for the metal ring placement. It is towards the back which I tend to like more than the ones that are closer to the neck. I would definitely recommend this if you have any patience whatsoever.Really pleased with the harness. Ordered the large for my 40 lb basset hound and it fits great and leaves some room for growth. The design is simple but classy -- I love the bone shaped buckle and the material feels comfortable but durable. I've been looking for this particular shade of light blue for a while and was happy to find it on Amazon. Easy to take on and off and adjust for sizing. Definitely recommend.My 10 month old husky is a chewer and a Ninja. Enough said! This harness was slightly big on her when I bought it so she figured out how to wiggle out. One month of having this harness she aparently got tired of it and chewed it off. I would agree with the other reviews that this is a great harness. I just need something made of even stronger material.At first I thought that it was to small and it wouldn't fit my chocolate lab, but after I adjusted the straps it was perfect. It works better than other harnesses because it holds my dog a little lower than the neck and this avoids choking. Amazing for taking dogs for a walk!!Love that this has double clip buckles for easy entry. Also, very cute bone shape to the buckles. I am going to have to get the next size up because I measured wrong, but that is my fault.okayThis harness is of excellent quality, you can tell by the stitching and durability, my dog is very active and this harness so far has shown no signs of wear and tear.This is a very well made product. I feel safe walking my dog with it and I don't worry about it breaking or sliding off. Great harness.Brilliant product have bought other harness and leads from here,only thing is the sizing .I have a large jack Russell and ordered a medium but tight around chest so reordered larger size and that was fine very good quality,when I need to replace I will buy from here again.
