This is my 2nd set I wanted to review it after seeing how long it lasts. I am not an expert nor have I done a gel set on my own before this purchase. Tips: I use my non dominant hand first since I know it takes more time making sure to do the clean up with a tool as the polish is gel and does not come off without acetone or scraping it away. Don’t put the polish right at your cuticles to avoid layering too thick which causes lift or early peeling. The set gave me about 3 weeks of a salon quality. It shows the grow out at about 3wk point but still a shiny fresh set. I recommend getting a clear powder dip to make it last longer prior to putting the polish on. I don’t wash dishes or heavy household cleaning without gloves to protect my hands and nails from the effects of chemicals or overly water exposure. Without gloves during those tasks you can shave off a week or so from my past experience even nail salon set. I love that I can DIY using salon quality products to have the same effect but saving tons! Almost $200 monthly save! The only thing is since I miss the spa experience for my pedicure I may go in once in a while for a treat but for now I do home gel pedicures as well with no dip powder and it lasts about 2 weeks. I also use a base and top coat gel set just like salons. Hope this helps! I for one am NEVER going back to spending all that money.
