Of the several Chinese jump ropes I have tried, this one seems like the best quality for the money and won't fray or break easily. It is most like the ones I remember using when I was in grade school. It is nice and long and the elastic isn't too narrow to dig into the back of your legs while holding the rope. If you need instructions on how to play, this rope doesn't come with any but for the experienced jumper it gets my vote!
