These old protest songs are still, sadly, pertinent today. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the recordings given that most were recorded long before all the hi-tech equipment now available. Three of the discs are CDs. The fourth is a DVD. My only complaint is that there are no dates given for the recordings. The approximate time can be figured out, but exact dates and places would be interesting. The booklet enclosed with the discs gives background history plus brief biographies of the singers. Thank you Joe Hill.
