This color was available but at an increased price. If I hadn't already started a project with this color, I would not have paid that price. This color is intense & matched what I had already used. This yarn was not as soft as I was expecting, given that it's a 'baby' yarn, but it wasn't super scratchy either, and seemed to soften up a bit once knitted. It was a bit splitty though.Made mini Easter baskets with this. Little to no splitting. Not a good sign when there are multiple starts to the beginning of the skein. After I pulled out the middle I found 3 additional ends of the yarn.addendum:I contacted the seller and there was a quick reply. They were able to replace it with a new skein that was not in pieces.I’m giving this yarn five stars because it’s incredibly soft for being acrylic, and the amount of yarn you get at this price is pretty great. I was able to knit two pumpkin hats with one skein, and still had some left over. Not a bad deal for the price and quantity, but not exactly the highest quality yarn, either. Still, the yarn was easy to work with. Knits up great on size US 7 or 8 needles. Lastly - this yarn truly is very “orangie.” If you’re going for a more muted shade of orange, this yarn is not your best bet.SoftHave used another color of this yarn before. Love the softness and ease of crocheting with it. I find it nice for crocheting Amirguri stuffed animals and dolls. This is such a soft yarn, and a gorgeous black. It is a little hard to see individual stitches because it is so dark, but there are great results!Baby Hugs yarn is very soft and comes in a big ball and will go a very long way.I love the fact that there are so many fewer chemicals in it that will not harm your baby. The yarn is great to work with - I only gave 4 starts because the colours are different from what is pictured.I ordered a few - in this case for Peachie - it's more of a fluorescent salmon colour than a dark peach as pictured. It’s very soft wool. Nice colour.Colour was beautifulUsed for doll hair
