Worthy album for a highly underrated sad sack Scottish post rock act. Think Elliot Smith meets Mogwai and writes songs solely about sex and failed relationships, all with a uniquely Scottish accent and sense of humor. I am a huge fan of Mogwai, fellow Scotsman's who helped turned me onto this group in early 2000's. This is the first record I got and remains one of their best." Monday at the Hug and Pint" and "The Last Romance" are absolutely terrific as well.
