This hose is built for endurance and performance in custom coolant plumbing applications where a tough and secure flexible connection is required. Red silicone rubber construction with 3-ply reinforcement and smooth "wipe down" finish. Straight reducers are approximately 5 inches long overall. Use with our Aluminum Splicing Nipples (Part No. HJ19 and HJ13) and Lined Hose Clamps (Part No. 3613-1.25) to construct the exact bends and lengths you need. This size is rated over 75 psi working pressure and 300 psi burst pressure. All of our silicone hoses are hand crafted and quality inspected to the highest European standards. Note: This hose is NOT formulated for use in oil or fuel plumbing applications. It will survive occasional spills and oil leaks, but it will not stand up to continuous exposure to petroleum.
