I bought this on the recommendation of a YouTube video by a furniture restorer. I first cleaned my very old crusty antique cabinet with another brand finish cleaner. After it dried a few days I used the TLC wax. Rubbed in a light coat and let it dry overnight. Buffed it the next day and the piece looks beautiful. No need to strip and ruin a lot of old furniture, just clean and wax and bring back the old finish while keeping the patina of time. Excellent product and it smells like shoe polish which I find agreeable, some may not but smell goes away when it drys
