We've used 6 different carriers now: Baby Bjorn, ERGObaby, Moby, Beco Baby Gemini, Aprica side carrier, and S.P.O.C. (simple piece of cloth).I bought this carrier for my husband to use, since it's quick and easy--only one position, and our son loves to face out like this. My husband uses it, but he soon complained about how the slight to-the-side position of the baby made it so he was easily getting kicked in the crotch. We also found that the waist belt/support is just a nylon belt, not the thick padded band that the ERGO and Beco offer. However, at least it has a waist belt--unlike the Baby Bjorn. I think if we had bought our At first, I thought I really liked this product. I had only used it a few times for short periods. I have literally tried every inexpensive carrier on the market and done EXTENSIVE research. After using this carrier for just 30 minutes, my back, neck and shoulder were destroyed! My son is a slim 18lbs yet, my neck and back have still not recovered 2 weeks later. I'm giving it 2 stars for the idea and the fact that the manufacturers are keeping the price in a good range. I think if there was some fine tuning, this carrier would be perfect. The flaws now however, don't fit well with my body type. I will say that it is pretty simple to maneuver the baby in and out of.I absolutely fell in love with this carrier the day I got on my porch! It's so easy to use and my baby goes right into it perfectly! Only two straps--one for your shoulder and one around your waist... It's not like those complicated carriers with 4+ straps which are so difficult to put on and especially difficult to put baby into. I'd recommend this to anyone out there looking for a super easy way to carry your baby around when strolling, shopping, cleaning, etc!I like the idea, the price and the color. It would be very good, but the band is not comfortable. It hurts with a 15 pounds baby after 6-7 minutes. I returned it and ordered an another one which has a very comfortable band.My 3.5 month old loves looking forward, he does not like facing in and will get cranky. So, this is great for that. We walk around the house for 15-20 mins a day in this. It is comfortable for limited use and I can get him (and me) in and out easily. I also have the Moby, Baby Bjorn (w/ and w/o back support versions) and a sling. Right now this is my preference for ease of use.Have not had problems described by other reviewer. It actually helped my back and shoulder as I used to carry my daughter in one arm, doing light house chores before.I does exactly what is supposed to do; helps carrying the baby and having two hands availbale:)My little girl likes to sit in it and it's easy to get her in and out.Nothing spectacular but it's a solid and useful tool. Be sure it fits your body well.I have not paid for mine as I got two(!) as a gift, but the price seems like a bargain too. Quality item and working well for me and my baby.Would rate between 4 to 5 stars but considering price and quality to competition, will go with 5.
