Just not as dark red like a January garnet more like a July ruby reddish pink color. But still prettyI was a bit dubious when reading the reviews on how this thing changed colors, but I bought it anyway. It is very pretty and the color-changing reviews were spot-on. The stone’s color went from Amethyst purple to yellow topaz to sapphire blue to emerald green.This ring is absolutely beautiful. I have several rings by Atta Gems and they are all stunning. Beautifully made and great quality. Looks like it came from a very expensive jewelry store.OMG LOVE THIS! I love the color change in different lighting, more dramatic than alexandrite the other stones pictured. It's gorgeous!Looks to fake for the price!
