The item is cute and looks as pictured. However, it is slightly of lower quality than I expected. The "keys" are wooden and didn't depress when I first tried to get it to work. It is shipped with batteries but they were dead. After I inserted new batters, and had my husband fix the keys so that they would depress and trigger the sound, the piano would finally play. It will do for my nephew's Christmas present, but I probably wouldn't buy again and wouldn't have bought this if I had seen it in the store first.I loved the idea of book and piano combined for young children. Only problem is that the item came damaged three times before I finally received one that wasn't broken. Unfortunately the construction is not sturdy.Keys stickThis product would not work. So I replaced the batteries that came with it and they were all corroded and wet and smelled like bad vinegar. I replaced the batteries and it barely works absolutely disappointing. This thing is garbageSame as the other customers - this came perfectly packaged, but the toy itself was rattling and broken. Very sad to disappoint the Christmas kids. I should have read the reviews before I bought.
