They are metallic and rigid but they are OK and they do the job. My wife tried them and liked them.Can't really knock off too much for the price. Only complaint I have is they are a little small. Unless you turn your wrists a certain way, you can't close them.I like this cuffs but i don't like that you can open it without key...!So these cuffs have a quick release not mentioned in the description. I wouldn't of ordered them if i knew there was a quick release. Just letting people know before buying so you don't get disappointed like i did when i received itPretty and shiny, but the chain is a bit too short and they cut into your skin easily. Too easily, and not good pain. feels bad man.FUN TO PLAY WITH, MY LADY LOVES THESE , BUT THEY ARE VERY CHEAP MADE WOULD NOT BUY AGIN AT THIS TIMEAs advertised.
