These are a little more expensive than other collars but they are well worth it. They are super stylish and last forever. The double buckles are very nice too vs some that have only one buckle and so dog must step through something. The ONLY complaint is that the INITIAL adjustment is a bit tedious because the buckles are tight, but once you get through that you will have a great harness ---I even throw them in the wash.The harness fit my cairn terrier mix pup just perfect: neck circle, body circle, and chest/back connecting straps. I searched quite a while to get the right-sized harness, and one that had a single metal ring to connect a leash to; previous use of double ringed harnesses revealed that they were often difficult to get both rings hooked to a leash when you have a wriggling pup on your hands. The single ring is by far easier to use. On top of that, the decorative strap is very attractive; and not too sissyfied for a boy dog. I am very happy with this harness.UPDATE FEB 2019: This harness and matching leash have been in constant use for the last 7 years. I'm very happy to report that both are still sturdy and in perfect working condition, despite having been worn almost daily for 2,555+ days!! I am about to buy the set again, for the pup's birthday, because the padded handle is a bit pilled, and things are beginning to look 'used'!! They are pricey - but when you consider how many years of service you will get from them, well worth every penny. I will keep the old set as a spare, and my pup will sport a brand new, shiny outfit of the identical things!!This harness is adorable and well made. It doesn't fit my dog right so I am only going to use it as a spare. The adjustment buckle of the chest strap falls right where her elbow bumps it as she walks.I gave it 4 stars instead of 4 for 2 reasons.(1) It's really hard for me to press in the bone clasp to open the harness.(2) The material of this harness is quite sturdy. The problem with that is that the harness becomes very bulky wherever there are multiple layers of fabric: at the adjustment buckles and where cross pieces meet. If those locations hit a certain way they can be uncomfortable for your dog. Also, the bulkiness means you can't fully adjust the straps. The belly strap for medium is supposed to go 5" to 9". In reality I got 5.25" to 6.5" I might be able to get it larger if I cut off the band that keeps the layers together but there would be no way to put the band back on.This is our 4th RED DINGO Harness and the only kind we buy! Our first one is still like new and it’s 5 years old! I just like different colors and alternate ones so that I can wash them and have spares. They are thick and sturdy, beautiful colors and patterns.Wow, this is a really well made harness. I thought it would be equal in quality to the nice ones at Petsmart, but it is much better! Thicker fabric with reinforced edges -- this thing would not look as nice as it does right now if it was not good quality. I'm fostering a dog that was taken off the streets, and though we gave her Revolution and her fleas are physically gone, the bites still drive her crazy. Her old harness was already coming apart after a week (mind you it was very cheap, shelter-issued) but after 2 months of being scratched with little doggy claws, the Red Dingo is still looking great! Plus the "Bucklebone" is extremely easy to use. I'm not afraid of clipping my dog's skin in with it because the entire thing is rounded & covered. I got the Medium for my 18lb Chihuahua-Corgi mutt & its the perfect size for her. These prints are so adorable!! The pink "sprinkles" are actually hearts! Too cute.I would have given this dog harness 5 stars except I haven't been able to get a good fit. The harness is made very well. I have a Min Pin. I ordered a small harness for her and it was too small even after adjusting it out as big as it could go. Then I ordered the medium harness and it is a little to big despite cinching everything down to the smallest size. I am keeping the medium to see if she will grow into it. Also, I wouldn't get a harness with a ring on the top back of it until your dog is properly leash trained (as in the dog doesn't pull you on a walk).I have three daschunds and they are very difficult to find harnesses that fit properly. One of the daschunds can "escape" from some of the harnesses. This harness can be adjusted to fit the size of the dogs chest and is more secure on the dog. Very nice color selection. Need to be careful of the sizes they run small. I had to return the first one due to the size being to small. It did not correspond with the description.This looks awesome on my 12lb miniature Dachshund (size medium). I also purchased a size small for his 10lb brother. The medium harness is wider and more substantial looking, which I prefer. However, it would not have fit my smaller dog, as it is adjusted to pretty much its smallest size for my larger dog. It's a quality product and I would purchase again. In fact, I wish they had one listed here that would fit my 75lb lab..The large size of this harness doesn't adjust down to fit our 10 week old GSD, but the medium size can be adjusted to fit her quite well. We currently have it adjusted with the front bands as small as they'll go, but the rear band almost at it's maximum. I suspect that when we need the rear band to expand more, we may achieve a better fit by using the rear band from the larger harness, rather than using the whole of the large harness (the rear band can easily be removed from the harness). If you have a puppy that is likely to grow through more than one size of harness, it may be beneficial to buy them at the same time.If the harness is left too loose at the front, our puppy can get hold of it, chew it, and potentially get herself stuck in it. We had to adjust the harness whilst it was on her to get a better fit, which means we can't easily slip it on and off of her. This is such a shame, as the two buckles on the rear part of the harness make it very easy to get her in and out of that part of the harness.
