I have read many reviews of this album by a lot of people that seem incredibly pi$$ed off about it. With a title like it has and the bands that are on it... what did these buyers expect? I bought it because I was hoping to hear what some of the heavier bands could do with Rush material. I must say that it it is an excellent show of respect for modern metal bands to play this music. I also think that some of these buyers don't understand just what a good cover is: when a band is able to play a song written by another band in one style and make it sound like the covering band wrote it in a completely different style.I dare say that I think the cover of Passage to Bankok is better than the original. As a Rush fan, I think it's very cool to hear how someone else plays the song; and as a musician, I have great respect for a relatively unknown band to have the guts to rework such well-known materialIf you like this, you must look into the 2disc Slave to the Power tribute to Iron Maiden.
