I got this recorder because I'm taking a journalism class and I needed something that would record interviews easily, but I've found that I've used it for all kinds of other things as well--it's a great little recorder that has high quality sound and is super easy to use. I've recorded classes and uploaded them for students who were absent, and all have said the quality is great. It's very easy to plug into your computer and store files (could be used as a USB drive), and to extract and edit audio files that you've recorded. It was very affordable and completely worth it. :)
