This pettiskirt is more like a tutu VERY short and very thin. It looks fluffy and thicker in the photo. My wife was able to add some lining to it and add another layer of fabric - so it was useable. My little girl is 5 and it fit her in the waist but didn't cover her bottom. If you're looking for something to go over dancewear - this would work - but is not wearable as is.
